GollaGolla ("we", "the app") respects user privacy and complies with applicable data-protection laws including Korea's PIPA and EU GDPR.

1. Data we collect

The app works without sign-up. We collect only the following anonymous data:

• Anonymous session ID (UUID, stored on device + server) — to prevent duplicate tournament submissions and to identify your half of a friend match
• Language preference — Korean / English toggle
• Tournament + duo picks — your bracket results and either/or choices
• IP address — used solely for rate-limiting (abuse prevention); not linked to your identity, retained at most 1 hour

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, location, photos, contacts, or any other identifying information.

2. Purpose of collection

• Aggregating tournament results into global statistics
• Operating the 1:1 friend duo match feature
• Preventing spam and abuse

3. Retention

• Tournament submissions: retained 90 days, then aggregated anonymously
• Duo match records: 30 days
• Rate-limit IP records: max 1 hour (auto-expiring)

4. Third parties / processors

We use the following infrastructure providers:

• Cloudflare, Inc. — Workers (runtime), D1 (database), R2 (storage), all in the US

We do not sell or share your data with anyone for marketing.

5. Your rights

You may at any time:

• Reset all your local progress (Settings → Reset progress in dev build, or by reinstalling)
• Disable notifications (Settings → Notifications)
• Request data deletion or correction by emailing us

6. Security

• End-to-end HTTPS encryption
• Parameterized SQL queries + XSS escaping
• Regex/allowlist input validation on all API endpoints
• Per-IP and per-session rate limiting

7. Advertising / analytics

The app contains no ad SDKs, no analytics, and no tracking. If we add any in the future, we will update this policy.

8. Children

The app does not collect personal information and is safe for use by anyone, including minors. Parental supervision is recommended for users under 14.
